“I've been using GPT-6 Astra to create 70+ page documents from 100,000+ characters of source material, and it's jump in processing is great. Here's the weird part, when I give it a massive task it works for 30-40 minutes burning through a ton of compute, only to hit me with a 5-hour usage limit error without outputting a single word. “In an earlier update, they removed the option to make a commit from the right sidebar. In the latest update, they removed the option to create a branch. Before that, they removed the "Open with" option for specific applications. For example, earlier we could open with VS Code or Cursor, but now that's gone too. With Codex you get a 5h percentage, a weekly percentage, “usage varies,” and not much else. You don’t know what the actual allowance is, what a task cost, or how much work you realistically have left. “At some point around the time 6.1 Sol was introduced, copy & paste stopped working in Codex, including in the most recent stable version v160. Errors include: "Clipboard is busy", "Copying already in progress", (Pasting does nothing), etc. Been using Codex for over a year and copying & pasting multiple times per day and never had this happen before.
